SUMMARY:CA16114 RESTORE WG4 Training School Venice (IT)
DESCRIPTION:Review on the 4th RESTORE Training School in Venice:  \nOn December 2nd\, 2019 the fourth Training School of our COST ACTION was held at the Università IUAV Di Venezia. In a four-day workshop on the topic of ” Regenerative Building” first of all concepts and technologies were informed in expert lectures and afterwards the participants were given the opportunity to prove their knowledge in case studies. In total\, 27 young researchers from 14 countries came to Venice to jointly expand their expertise in the topic area. The event was led by the two WG4 leaders Poberto Lollini and Wilmer Pasut. \nThe 15 speakers were mostly members of our Action and reported\, among other things\, on our joint research work\, but experts also came from outside to speak on specific topics\, like Marzia Traverso (UNI Aachen)\, who reported on S-LCA on value chains (photo). \nThe participants drew a very positive conclusion from the event and expressed their interest to follow up our ACTION. We would like to thank the organizers\, participants\, speakers and especially the University IUAV as host for their contribution to this successful event and are looking forward to the fifth and last Training School in WG5 in autumn 2020. \n\nThe 4-day Autumn 2019 COST RESTORE Training School “Rethinking technologies for regenerative indoor environment” is open to European professionals\, researchers\, PhD and master students with relevant skills in one (or more) of the thematic areas: products manufacturing\, facility management\, design\, advisor. \n \n
