Wellness and Biophilia Symposium – Using Nature-Inspired Design to Foster Workplace Wellness

Following up the great success of ICBBM 2017 and ICBBM2015, in 2017 ICBBM2017 International Conference on Bio-Based Building Materials was one of the biggest conferences worldwide in the area on bio-based materials (3BM) used in construction and provided also an excellent platform for networking with more than 260 participants from all over the world and an exhibition.
The purpose of this international conference ICBBM2019 is to present the latest available scientific and technical information in the field of bio-based building materials, natural fibres, earthen ramped, innovative hybrid composites natural fibres, sustainable binders for sustainability and energy efficiency of buildings, life cycle analysis of 3BM.
Central Europe towards Sustainable Building (CESB) 2019

The conference will be held under auspices of international conveners CIB, iiSBE, UNEP-SBCI, FIDIC and GABC and belongs to the Sustainable Built Environment regional conference series leading towards World Sustainable Built Environment conference WSBE20 in Gothenburg, 2020. The CESB19 objective is to present current activities in sustainable building with special focus on the Central Europe area and to bring ideas and international expertise to the region to contribute to its further development. One day prior to the CESB19, on July 1, the third iiSBE Forum of Young Researchers in Sustainable Building YRSB19 will take place, focused on actual PhD research in the field of sustainable building.

ISCTE-IUL 2019: International Conference on Social Solidarity Economy & the Comms

The international conference “Social Solidarity Economy and the Commons” will be a meeting point for researchers, activists, public officials and social entrepreneurs involved in social and solidarity economy, governance of the commons and new social movements in different parts of the world. The aim is to co-create an open, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary space for exchange of knowledge and socio-political experiences on new approaches to economic organisation and governance based in solidarity, cooperation and common ownership from across the world.
The InnoRenew CoE and University of Primorska are hosting the InnoRenew CoE International Conference 2020, “Integrating sustainability and health in buildings through renewable materials”.
The conference has 5 thematic sessions that cover interdisciplinary topics related to renewable materials and buildings with a focus on sustainability throughout. Sessions cover digital solutions, human health, materials, design and engineering.
